Lemonade Shake-ups

There is nothing better on a hot summer day than a Lemonade Shake-up! We used to get them all the time at the county fair…it was literally the first and last stop each day! Probably not good for the diet, but whatever, they are delicious!

The hubs had never had one, and I spoke to my aunt last week who gave me the recipe! It was exactly like the ones at the fair and I could not be happier! A little piece of home this far away makes for a good day. If you have never had one, you are totally missing out! They are absolutely amazing.

How to make a Lemonade Shake-up just like the one’s at the fair:

Ingredients

6 lemons
3 oranges
1 c. sugar
water

Directions

Squeeze the lemons and oranges into a pitcher.
Add the cup of sugar.
Fill up the remainder of the pitcher with water and stir!
Add in some ice cubes and enjoy!

Super easy and super refreshing!!

I was curious what size pitcher you make this in? I don’t want to put too much water in it & it not taste right so I wanted to make sure what size of a pitcher of drinks this makes.

I’ve never had a shakeup, but it looks like it would be very very good. I like the idea of a little orange with the lemon.
