I just love this little hat. It would be cute for a baby girl if you attach the bow, or leave the bow off and have it for a little boy! Either way, it is super quick to crochet and I am really happy with how it turned out.

**This hat will fit a baby up 6 months. To make bigger, add a increasing row between round 4 and 5.**
Materials
Hook: F/5 3.75mm
Yarn: Vanna’s Choice (the color in the picture is Linen)
Tapestry Needle
Abbreviations
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
Make a magic ring. (If you need help with that, please watch the video here.) Ch 2, 14 hdc in ring. Join with sl st.
Round 1 - Ch 2, 2hdc in each stitch around. Join with sl st.
Round 2 – Ch 3, 2dc in same stitch as chain, ch 1, *skip next stitch, 2dc in next, ch 1*. Repeat from * to * throughout row. Join with sl st.
Round 3 – Ch 3, skip one stitch, dc in next. Ch 1. *3dc in ch space, ch 1* repeat to end. End with Ch 1 and then join with sl st.
Round 4 – Ch 3, skip one stitch, dc in next two stitches. *Ch 1, skip next stitch, 3 dc in ch space* Repeat to end. Join with sl st.
Round 5 – Ch 3, skip one stitch, 3 dc in ch space, *Ch 1, skip next stich, 3 dc in ch space* Repeat to end. Join with sl st.
Round 6-12 - Repeat row 5.
Round 13 – Sc in each stitch around loosely so as not to pull the hat tight. Where there is a chain space, do 1 sc in that area. Join with sl st.
Round 14 – Sc in each stitch around loosely. Join with sl st, finish off and weave in ends.
For the bow, I found a pattern here and it is very easy!
