Hookin’…the legal way! Part 3

Welcome!! I am so excited you are joining us for the third part of Hookin’…the legal way!

If you need a refresher, below are the first two weeks of the series.

Part 1 – Intro to stitches

Part 2 – Increasing and Decreasing Stitches

These amazing shops are sponsoring Hookin’…the legal way. Check out their Etsy shops (Living In Amethyst and Two Girls Patterns) for some seriously amazing patterns and make sure to check back at the end where one lucky reader will be winning patterns from their shops! I know right!? I made this skirt and these slippers using these ladies’ patterns! So cute!!

On to Miss Lauren!

Hi! I’m Lauren and I blog over at Tutus & Tea Parties where I share some crochet patterns, things I do with my toddler & crafts I make when she’s asleep. I have been crocheting since I was 19 {10 whole years ago} and am addicted to it! I’m so happy Katie has asked me to share with you some tutorials on crocheting. I’ll be showing you all how I change colors & weave in the ends.

The following video will show you how to change colors at the end of a row without using knots. I also show you how to hide your yarn ends so you won’t have to weave them in at the end of your project. Don’t mind my daughter at the end…she had just woken up.

The following video will show you how to change colors when you are working in the round. You can do the same technique as shown in the last video of crocheting over your ends so you won’t have to weave them in. I did not show it that way in this video so I can demonstrate weaving in ends in another video.

The following video will show you how to weave in your ends when you are finished with your work. Don’t mind my sniffling…my allergies were super bad!

I hope you find these videos helpful. If you have any questions or need help I would be happy to help you. You can send me a message and I will get back to you within a day or so.

Happy Hookin’!

Thanks Lauren!!

Be sure to stop back by next week where we will have free patterns for you to try out with your newly learned skills!!
