This past weekend (9/15/12), my amazing friend Laini got married. This is the wedding that I have been super busy with for the last few months. I got home the end of July and since then it has been wedding planning galore and finishing up the last minute touches. It was an absolute blast! I stole some of her pics so that I could share them with you!! The wedding was amazing, the reception was fantastic,… the whole thing was incredible!
The wedding ceremony and reception decor was done by Kreative Rentals in our hometown of Morrison, Illinois. The whole site was stunning!!
The reception decor. The H’s were cut out using my Silhouette Cameo. I had to cut out 350 of those little bad boys!! I think they added a nice touch though!
Here is a close up the H’s and the favors with the favor tags. The favors were chocolate candies in a baggy with copper colored wrapping. Then we tied on a brown ribbon on to a monogrammed tag to tie it all together.
The bottom of the shoe was drawn on my Laini’s uncle. A few years back, Laini lost her Aunt Jan to ovarian cancer. In order to include her touch in the wedding, Laini’s uncle drew Aunt Jan’s favorite drawing on the bottom of her shoe. It was the perfect touch and included her “something blue”.
Here is the setup of the ceremony which was done by Kreative Rentals.
The brides bouquet. It was absolutely gorgeous and went so well with the whole theme!
I made a thank you banner by sewing on the cognac colored letters, that I cut out from my Silhouette, onto the burlap. This way the bride and groom can send the picture as their thank you cards.
We did a jump photo, but this was the 3rd or 4th one. I was pretty sure I was going to lose one of the “girls” because strapless bras are not my friends…:) The groomsman was scared he was going to see some goods!!:)
After pictures, we stopped at a bar to get a group shot….literally!
As you can tell by my face, I am not a fan of shots;) LOL Whatever…
Me and the hubs! He was looking so super sexy that night;) I heart a man in a tie!!
My sister and I! We had such a great time!!!!! I just love her to pieces!
So there you have it, the most amazingly beautiful wedding I have ever been to/a part of. Feel free to pin the pics and I am hopefully going to have more free time now;)
Don’t miss anything. Stay connected!
