Free Printable Blog Planner

I have been working on this for what feels like forever, tweaking and re-tweaking it to make sure it fits my needs as a blogger. I found so many printables out there, but they were always missing something. I am incredibly Type A and it’s really annoying;). OCD at it’s best! But, I have finally created a Blog Planner where everything I need is in one place and it makes sense in my head…which makes me happy:)

The Chevron Background was found here. There are so many other colors if you want to use some;)

1. Blogger Expense Tracker
I use this sheet to track the incoming money from sponsored posts and Ads and the money I pay out each month for sponsoring other blogs or giveaway items and their costs.

2. To-Do List
I made this a little while back to keep track of the different projects I have going on. Typically the 3 categories I have are sewing, crochet, and other…but right now that “other” is wedding projects for a friend that is getting married this fall.

3. Monthly Calendar
This is pretty self-explanatory.

4.& 5. Weekly Calendars
Each day has a section for the title of the post, the notes for that post, and keywords to use. In the same area, I have “Sponsor’s posts” so that I can keep track of the lovely ladies I have on my blog that are sponsoring me. If they have something going on that day, I write it down so that I can Tweet about it or post it to Facebook to promote them. On the far right, there are boxes for “Drafted”, “Scheduled”, and “Posted” to keep track of the status of each post. Also, below that is an area to check off if it has been posted to Twitter, Facebook and Google +. (Super anal right?… I can’t help it!)

6. Sponsor Information
I use this sheet to keep track of the sponsors at Little Becky Homecky. This includes the ad size, the name of the person and blog, their twitter handle, email, and what they are doing as part of their sponsor package (i.e. Guest Posting, Sponsor Spotlight, Group Spotlight, Giveaway, etc.) Then there is a column labeled “Mentions” where I write in how many are included in their price and then an area to tally up the mentions for both Facebook and Twitter.

7. Who I’m Sponsoring
I use this sheet to track who I am sponsoring. Not everyone uses Passionfruit Ads and so I like to have all the information in one area. Here I write down the name, how much I paid (or enter Swap if that is the case), whether or not I am doing a giveaway and the item, and what to expect. In the “What to expect” section, I write down what is included in the price that I purchased so that if it gets to be the end of the month and I have not been contacted when I am supposed to be doing a Guest Post as part of my sponsorship, I can be sure to contact them.

8. Giveaway Information
This one is also pretty self-explanatory, but it keeps things organized for me so that I don’t get too carried away with what giveaways I am participating in;)

9. Monthly Stats Tracker
Finally, we have the Stats Tracker. I keep track per week, and then also monthly. The information for the Pageviews and Unique Visitors comes from Google Analytics. Then, the other information is taken from each of my Social Media sites and totaled at the end of the row. I find this to be important for updating my Sponsor page to show those interested in sponsoring what my stats are so that they can determine if Little Becky Homecky is a good fit for them to reach their target audience.

I am so excited to be sharing this with you because it has made my life so much easier! I printed out the pages, added dividers and a cover, and took them to be bound at a local print shop. I could not be happier.

Organizing Your Projects {Free Printable}

My life is all about lists. I make lists for literally everything…

1. packing

2. things to do on each day

3. lists of items to complete each day for the blog

4. cleaning lists

5. Wish lists…:)

…see here I go making a list again:) I recently had to give up on a notebook that I had written down all of my projects on. There was no organization at all and it was killing me. I had like six different pages with projects on them because I would write them out, then start drawing out what I wanted, run out of space and then go to a new page…urgh. So annoying! I went ahead and made this so that I could keep track of my projects by the category that they belong in.

There are three boxes at the top that are blank. You can either write the categories in by hand, or use the latest photo editing software, like Pic Monkey to fill in the blanks for your specific categories. My categories that I am using now are:

1. Crochet-mainly baby items for a friend

2. Sewing-never stops…I love it..

3. Wedding-(no not mine, a friends that I am helping out with)…the list is getting a bit out of hand, but I am loving every minute of it.

Using the boxes to the left of each line, I am able to either prioritize them by giving them a number, or check them off when they are done. I made these about a week ago and I have so many printed out. This way, when something pops in my head (usually when I am laying down at night before bed), I can quickly write it down on the next project sheet and I am good to go.

I hope this helps you guys out as much as it has helped me. I really enjoy having lists, but I think the reason is because I absolutely heart crossing off items! There is something about a completed to-do list that is so fulfilling. I have a serious issue with this.

**Please only use these free printables for personal use. If you decide to post it on your site, please provide a linkback. Thank you.**

What three categories would you put your projects into? Baking, Sewing, Crochet, Knitting, Scrapbooking….the possibilities are endless!! So fun!

Clipix – Customized Clipboards

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of clipix for Social Spark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was so excited when I got the opportunity to use Clipix! It is a great way to collect all of the fantastic things that you find online. I don’t know how many times I go through my history searching for something that I saw somewhere, but of course I didn’t bookmark it. Happens all the time.

A great friend of mine is getting married this fall and with me being so far away from her, it’s been a lot of emailing back and forth going over ideas for the wedding. I am making the programs and the flower girl dresses for her wedding, so there has been a lot of discussions to figure out what her feelings are on certain ideas and looks.

I started on Clipix and immediately set up a “Wedding Ideas” Now I can post ideas on there, and once she signs up to Clipix, I will share it as a Syncboard. This part is really neat because I decide who can clip things for that board. Let’s say she likes the dress that I picked out for the flower girl dress, but wants me to do it in a different color. She can simply find the color or fabric she wants me to use from the site, and clip it to our Syncboard. This way, I can visually see what she is talking about and go directly to that site to order the fabric after she makes that decision. The best part is that they are in real-time. We could be on the phone and get this taken care of in one night! There is even an iPhone App for it so if she is at the store, she can take a picture of something that she likes and show it to me rather than wait until the email finally comes through on my phone to get it! Perfect!

Here is the “Wedding Ideas” clip board that I started up. It literally took seconds to get signed up and I started clipping all of the wedding things we have already been talking about on the phone. I cannot wait until she gets signed up so I can show them to her.

The possibilities are endless when thinking of what types of clipboards you can have.

*Shopping-Different clipboards for things you are comparing. You could even put in prices here to see where it is cheapest instead of having a ton of windows or tabs open.

* Recipes

*Gift ideas – great for planning Christmas lists and keeping track of where they are on sale

*Interesting articles to read

*Vacation ideas

*Party planning (favor ideas, decorations, different caterers and bakeries)

*Saving funny videos

*Books you want to read

*Movies you want to see

*Fun activities –great for keeping track of things to do with the kids during the summer

*Restaurants to try

*Redecorating a room (furniture, paint colors – all next to each other to see how it flows together)

* Building a new house

*…and the list goes on and on

You can decide how many different clipboards you want and they are so easy to customize and share with friends and family via Facebook and Twitter.

I encourage you to visit clipix and sign up. I think you will definitely enjoy it. I know I have!

21 Day Challenge-Update

I started the 21 Day Challenge from A Bowl Full of Lemons a few weeks ago, and I did Day 1- Junk Drawer and was so excited. Honestly, I wasn’t prepared for it because I didn’t have places/containers for things to be organized into:)…Now I do!

I secretly was waiting for my husband to have some time off work to help me tackle a couple of the “days”.
Today we went crazy!! Poor guy, his first real day off in what feels like weeks and I woke him up after I dropped off Miss M and bribed him with breakfast and we started tackling the projects.
First, we started in the kitchen. Getting rid of random stuff that had accumulated for no reason. I even found a Barbie still in the package that I bought for my daughter and forgot I had..LOL.. whatever she wasn’t missing it. We have this storage cupboard above our fridge and we started with that which is where the Medicine area is as well. Next was the pots/pan, and Tupperware Cabinet, and finally, the random appliances cupboard. We got a little carried away and did the Spice Cabinet as well which felt great to get done and it looks SOOOOO much better in there!

Small appliances storage
Next onto the computer room/dining room. This was ridiculous! My computer desk had just about everything I didn’t need in it. Nail polish, a unopened candy cane courtesy of the little one, some random markers and stickers from her arts and crafts supplies. I was so ready to tackle it head on. I did the Computer Desk which she says only to do the top, but I didn’t stop. He put together a cabinet for me to put our games and books in. It looks so much better all tidied up. I am so happy now!!

Finally, it was on to the craft area, which is what I picked for the “you pick” section of the 21 Day Challenge. My craft area is in the closet. Not the most ideal spot, but it works because we are only renting while we are here in Germany. He put together more cabinets for me..poor guy…and I went crazy organizing it. I just love it now! Makes me want to get in there and sew all day.
New Craft storage!! OMG so happy!!
21 Day Challenge

21 DAY ORGANIZING CHALLENGE
Day 21 – You pick! – I chose my craft area!

Yes I am going completely out of order, but I had to get done what I could while he is off work. I am taking what I can get;). We got 6 “days” done in a matter of 4 hours or less. I am so much happier now and I swear being organized makes my head more clear which makes me happier!

Day 1-Junk Drawer Challenge

This is something I have been dreading for a long time. Tackling the infamous junk drawer. When I signed up for the 21 Day Challenge over at A Bowl Full of Lemons, I was determined to complete it….and then I saw that the junk drawer was day 1….ugh! Well, one this is for sure, it was smart to be done first because it helped me so much!! After seeing what was done in less than 20 minutes, I cannot wait to tackle the rest of the challenges head on.
Here is what the junk drawer looked like before
Don’t judge me!!
I did what she said and put everything in a box and carried it into the living room. One by one, I took things out and either trashed, put them where they belong (hey now, there’s a thought??) or set them aside to go back in the drawer.
It went by really quickly, and before I knew it, I had this:
WOOHOO!! Now that’s inspiring:) I went ahead and did the drawers next to it where it wasn’t nearly as bad, but needed some love. I tend to get carried away when I am cleaning. If I see instant progress, I want to do it all right now!! Honestly, if I had the time, I would probably do the 21 Day Challenge in one day….luckily I don’t have the time at all!!
Here are the rest of the drawers:
The last one still needs some work, but that’s why I ordered some over the door organizers. Again, A Bowl Full of Lemons featured these lovely little organizers that she found at Open Sky. As soon as I saw her post, I went on and ordered two of them! I plan on hanging one in my daughter’s room for all her little items and then one in the kitchen. We have an area that is hidden next to the fridge where we keep the broom which will be a perfect place to hang this! :) I cannot wait to get it in the mail.
Are you ready to take the challenge? If so, go on to A Bowl Full of Lemons and sign up! You won’t regret it.
